Splish Splash and Party Bash!

What a fun weekend we had!! Yesterday we celebrated Darrin's 4th Birthday party as you can see Ava is checking out the balloons above. There was soooooo much excitement the balloons popping didn't even scare her! And yes, we finally convinced daddy to taking a picture with me and mommy! I was paying more attention to what was on the ground than the camera, but at least we got a family portrait!

Here I am with Grandpa Rick! Rick decided that I was getting too heavy after awhile becuase I am getting so big. I am just a growing little girl!

Here is little Miss Princess Ava all stylin in her pretty dress. My oh my momma LOVES to dress her baby girl! It's a dress every weekend if at all possible!

SPLISH SPLASH!!! We went to the Splash Park in Bentonville on Saturday! First water park for Ava and her Best Friend Cora!! Cora is 6 months older than me and we had a hay day in this water! The fountains shot out of the ground and we watched and then mom and I ran through a few times and had so much fun! I didn't even cry the entire time!

I am a princess or a diva, whichever I darn well want to be! I am stylin and a profilin every day!! This is just me chillin in my shades on the back porch swing!

We had such an eventful weekend and had so much fun! Ava is definitely growing and developing sooo much more! She is talking to us and responding to us by smiling and laughing! She is starting to use her hands to grab on to more and more! Especially when she is on my lap in front of food! Ava definitely loves food! She tried a lemon the other night out at Red Lobster and loved it! She kept sucking on it without any sour faces. Ava is figuring out how roll over as well, she had herself pushed over but couldn't quite get her little arm out so she could make it completely over and ended up flipping back. Ava loves to have her tongue hanging out and has figured out how to blow bubbles. It is just too stinking cute and we love watching her different developments! Ava is a bloomin flower! Or one heck of a little diva princess!! Well that is pretty much it for the past few weeks and our busy fun filled weekend! I will have Ava's first 4th of July outing up next week!

Happy Daddy's Day

Today is one of my Daddy's special days! It's Father's Day and I have been such a delight! I dressed oh so pretty and I have been smiling and laughing with my daddy all day!

On this day Josh is so blessed to have his little princess and is cherishing every moment! I don't have much to write today but wanted to give a shout out to all of the wonderful daddy's! Especially my hubby, my dad, and my late grandfather. Today is your day! Happy Father's Day!

I do have to say though that I am so thankful for my father and grandfather for making me who I am today. They taught me what I needed to know to grow and succeed in this world today.

Ava is Growing Like a Flower!

Now to play a little catch up! Ava is now 2 1/2 months old and as most would say she's growin like a weed, but my choice saying is "She is Growin like a Flower!" Ava is now 23 1/4 inches long and a whopping 11 lbs 15.7 oz! One healthy flower I say! There are many choices of flowers but I am kind of partial to Ava taking after her late great grandfather's "flower" of which is the one and only Dandilion! Yes, some may consider it a weed, but in the eyes of my grandpa it was a flower! It's kind of an irony to the whole Bloomin with the Bowers, Ava's growin like a Flower!

My grandfather was a great man whom left a legacy on this Earth. He's was very humble, well liked, and always was helping others or making others laugh with his crazy stories. I wish Ava would have been able to meet him, but God wanted him to join in Heaven 2 months before Ava's arrival. To this day he is a guardian angel looking down upon us and smiling at Ava everyday! He watches her grow as he sat and watched out his window all of the dandilions growing in his yard! I love him very much!!

Welcome Ava Ryli Bowers!

Hi all!! Ok, so I am a little behind at getting this started, but I wanted to create a blog for those who want to get to know our precious little Ava and to watch her grow!

We welcomed Ava Ryli to our family April 1st, 2011 at 6:10 P.M. Ava was 7.1 lbs and 19 1/2 inches! She was a beautiful bouncing baby girl!

Here is Ava when we welcomed her into this world:
